I'm under 18 and can't bid or sell item?
|
|
You need to be at least 18 years old because FriendCircles Auction is available only to individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. If you are under the age of 18, you can use FriendCircles Auction only in conjunction with, and under the supervision of your parents or guardians. |

How do I contact Customer Support?
|
|
To quickly find the answers to your questions, first click the "Help " link at the top of any FriendCircles Auction page. You'll come here to the Help Center, where you can search or browse through the Help topics to find the information you need. You can bookmark or print out and save the information you find.
If you still need help, click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of FriendCircles Auction page. This will take you to a special form where you can send us an email.
Please note that, depending on the nature of your question, it can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to receive a response from Customer Support through email. |

How do I use the search feature on FriendCircles Auction?

With our search engine, you can search by Category, Description, Item Type, etc. Once you have located the item you are looking for, you can click on the item's title link to see its listing page. |

What is Reserve Price?
|
|
A reserve price is the lowest price the seller will accept. If your bid fails below the reserve price you will not win the auction. |
|
What is Private Auction?
|
|
Some sellers prefer not to keep the ID of the bidder secret. There is no sinister reason for doing so it just protects the bidder's identity and stops other rival sellers contacting them to offer similar products or services. |

What is "Members Area"?
|
|
Members Area is a unique and efficient focal point for all your FriendCircles Auction buying and selling activity. |

How do I Register to join FriendCircles Auction?

Register through Friendcircles.com. You automatically become a buyer/seller if you are already a Friendizens (member of FriendCircles) |

I registered. Why did I not receive my confirmation e-mail?
|

You will receive a confirmation message via e-mail shortly after you register. This is to ensure that your e-mail address is valid. If you do not receive this message within 24 hours of your registration please contact us. |

Can I register under more than one account?
|
|
No. FriendCircles.com will only allow you to register one account per user. In cases that you forget your e mail or password, please don't create a new account in an attempt to remedy the situation. Instead, click on the Forgot your e mail and Password link when trying to Log In. |

Can I update my registration information?
|
|
Yes. Friendcircles.com members are expected to maintain valid and up-to-date contact information (e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number). This is a vital aspect of creating an honest and secure trading environment for FriendCircles Auction members. |

What is a Handle ID?

A Handle ID is a nickname, or alias which you can use to identify yourself to the rest of the FriendCircles community. |

How much does it cost to place a bid?

Simply placing a bid on a FriendCircles Auction auction is free. As a registered user, there is absolutely no obligation to buy. Please feel free to stop by and surf around from time to time. FriendCircles Auction is constantly expanding our selection of top quality merchandise. New items are available daily. |

How can I place a bid?

|
To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid. |

How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?

You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page. |

How do I know if I am outbid on an item?
|
|
Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid. |

Why does the system tell me my bid is invalid?
|
|
There are two reasons why a confirmed bid can be considered invalid:
You have entered an invalid value in the "Bid Amount" field. Make sure that your bid amount contains only numbers and decimal points, i.e., 45.00. Do not enter any dollar signs ($) or commas (,) into the bid amount field.
Your bid amount is less than the "Minimum Bid" value. Make sure that your bid is equal to or greater than the current "Minimum Bid" value shown on the listing page. |

How can I retract my confirmed bid?

Bid retractions are rarely allowed in FriendCircles Auction. However, you may retract a bid under few exceptional circumstances. |

I've won an item. Can I retract the auction?
|
|
No, you can't. A bid or Buy It Now purchase on FriendCircles.Com is considered a contract and the buyer is obligated to complete the purchase. |

What is Dutch Auction?
|
|
Dutch Auction or multiple item auction is auction that offers more than one identical items. |

I'm one of the winners in a dutch auction, but the total offered items is less than what I've bid for. Do I forced to buy them?

No, you don't have to buy them. You may refuse to complete the purchase in "bidding" page. |

How do I contract a seller?
|
|
You can contact a seller by clicking on the "Ask Seller a Question" link in auction detail page. |
|
How long should I wait for the seller to contact me?
|
|
Sellers and buyers are advised to contact each other within three business days. However, it's good for you to make the first contact with the seller through "Ask Seller a Question" link in auction detail page. |

Where can I monitor my bidding activity?
|
|
You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page. |

How can I tell if I am the winning bidder?
|
|
After the auction closes, we will send you an automated message indicating the auction has closed and you are the winning bidder. |

Who do I pay when I am the winning bidder of an auction?
|
|
If the item is being sold by a certified merchant, you should be contacted by the merchant shortly after the auction closes. |

Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly. |

How do I add HTML into my item description?
|

In the description editor panel, click on the "<>" button which located at the left upper of the editor. After that, you may write your HTML code in it. |

What should I include in the description of my item?
|
|
The accuracy of your item description is vital to selling with success! Always keep the buyer in mind when writing your item description.
Item descriptions that are detailed and accurate about the shape, size and condition of your item will establish trust, draw bidders and will likely help you generate sales and positive feedback. |

What types of items can I list for sale?
|
|
As a seller, when listing merchandise for sale on FriendCircles Auction, you agree that you have the intention, ability and legal right to sell your merchandise. You are also responsible for reviewing and complying with our list of Prohibited Items before you post an item for sale on FriendCircles Auction. |

Do you have a bulk upload program?
|

Yes. Login to Members Area and click on "Bulk" tab located on the top of the page. Find more information in the bulk upload page. |

Can I list my item as Buy It Now listing only?
|
|
Yes you can, you need to set the start price equal to the buy now price. |
|
How can I revise my listing?
|
|
You can edit your item by clicking on "Edit" link in "Selling" page. Before a bid is made, you may edit everything of your listing. If a bid is made on your listing, you can only edit its description. |

How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
|
|
You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting the "selling" page. |
|
Is there a way to contact bidders before my auction closes?
|
|
Contact information about a bidder is not released to the seller until the close of your listing. |
|
How do I contact the winning bidder of my sold auction?
|
|
Contact information about your winning bidder is not released to you until after your listing has closed. At that time, you and the winning bidder will automatically receive e-mail containing contact information, the final value of the item sold and the selected payment method. |
|
How do I close my auction early?
|
|
You may not close an auction early if it has bids. If you need to close an auction early for any reason, (for example: if you feel someone has entered a wrong bid amount for your listing, or if you made a duplicate listing in error) you may cancel their bids and then remove the auction.
Note: your charged listing fee is unrefundable. |

I'm informed that one of the winners of my Dutch Auction has refuse to buy my item. Can he/she refuses to buy them?
|
|
Winning bidders have the right to refuse partial quantities. This means that if they win partial of the quantity they bid for, they have not necessary to buy them. |

What are the system requirements needed to use FriendCircles Auction?
|
|
If you have Windows platform, we recommend it be a Pentium 75 MHz or higher with Windows 95/98, or Windows NT 4.x and Service Pack 3, 16MB memory (RAM), VGA 256 color, 640 x 480 display, and 28.8 KBPS Internet access.
If you have Macintosh, it should be a Power PC (running OS 7.6+) with 32 MB memory (RAM), 256 colors at 640 x 480, and 28.8 KBPS Internet access.
In either platform, it is best recommended you use the latest versions of either MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. |
